Social Media Commenting Statement

The purpose of any official district social media platform shall be to further the District's vision and mission, to support student learning and staff professional development, and to enhance positive communication with students, parents/guardians, staff, and community members. Official district social media platforms may not contain content that is obscene, libelous, or so incites students as to create a clear and present danger of the commission of unlawful acts on school premises, violation of school rules, or substantial disruption of the school's orderly operation.  Users are personally responsible for the content of their posts.

We welcome your comments, both positive and constructive via social media. We will share your comments with the appropriate staff to address any concerns and attempt to respond in a timely manner. The District uses Facebook for one-way communication and we do not publicly post any comments.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact your child's school or the Central Office at (707) 399-5000.
