About Rodriguez High School

Angelo Rodriguez High School opened in 2001 and is the newest of the three comprehensive high schools in Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. Angelo Rodriguez High School is located in Fairfield, California. The school was named after a local schoolteacher who died after successfully rescuing two drowning kids. This school has been named both a California Distinguished School and a National School of Excellence. This school is encompassed into the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District (FSUSD), which includes several other area high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools. Their athletic teams are known as the Mustangs and the school colors are green, white, and black.

The school started out in the year 2001. The first year only had freshman and sophomores. As the years progressed, the school started to see the population increase. By the year 2003-2004, the school had all four classes up and running. The class of 2004 was the first graduating class. The class of 2005 was the first graduating class to start as freshmen.
